Some RCI members recently took a tour of the

Gemaco asphalt shingle grinding fascility.

Our gang standing by piles of gound up apshalt shingles. this may be a great way to do our part for the enviroment by requiring contractors to grind up their asphalt shingles instead of taking them to the land fill.

Gemaco’s Asphalt Shingle Recycling Station

 The ONLY licensed asphalt shingle recycling facility in the region. We are conveniently located in the center of Metro Vancouver at 669 Derwent Way, Delta, BC. The site is clean, has easy access, friendly staff and offers quick turnaround times. The facility currently accepts tear off asphalt roofing shingles from residential homes/condos/townhomes as well as unusable/unsellable/rejected shingles from retail locations.
